Hey there wass'up, how it's going?

I've seen many people who do struggle to change background while editing in SNAPSEED (including me)!
I was doing some kind of experiments using curves (like creating negative image, and much more) and came up with this easy trick and hope you find it useful!

Coming to the image used in this image as a subject, you can't erase or remove the whites or cut and extract the tree in SNAPSEED perfectly not even in Photoshop (possible, but it takes a long time)!
In such cases, we use these kind of trick, also known as masking (a kind of)
