In this session, we will quickly learn, how to setup our development machine, i.e. our laptop or desktop that we are gonna use, to write and develop web applications.

There are several ways to do this. Since our main focus is to learn JavaScript, we can start off with a simple setup, and slowly work our way up, to setup a full fledged productive development machine, using which we can develop any Web application that we can think of.

We will explore the various User Interface components of a typical Web browser.

We will also learn few basic JavaScript statements and their syntax.
