Google Top Contributor and YouTube Contributors Summits 2017

This year I had the privilege of attending two regional meetups for volunteer contributors in the YouTube and Google Product Forums.

At the YouTube Contributor meetup, forum helpers, subtitlers and trusted flaggers from North America met in San Bruno. We not only had a interesting presentations, but got to see YouTube headquarters all dressed up for Halloween.

At the Google TC Summit in Mountain View, North and South American volunteers from the Google Help Forums and Communities gathered to learn about what's happening at Google, and meet with members of product teams.

There was sunshine (autumn in California!), swag, and parties. But the best part was getting to meet up with my fellow Top Contributors, Community Managers and other Googlers in person. Despite the speed of the internet, there's still nothing quite like talking, learning and laughing with other passionate experts in person.
