Rain across northern England clearing southward and turning lighter and more showery. Showers affecting coastal areas of Scotland and Northern Ireland and penetrating inland across northern Scotland, falling as snow across the Scottish mountains. Largely dry elsewhere but with a cold northerly wind. Chilly, with a grass frost for Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the evening of 09/10/24.
