WHY WERE MINORS ON BEACH AT NIGHT?; PARENTS SHOULD BE MORE RESPONSIBLE: CM SAWANT ON GANG RAPE
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has requested parents to be more responsible and not allow thier children to remain out till late in the night.
He was speaking on the Benaulim minor girls rape case, CM Sawant said “When 14-year-olds stay on the beach the whole night, the parents need to introspect. Just because children don’t listen, we cannot put the responsibility on the government and police,”
He also added that parents have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their wards and hinted that they should not let children, particularly minors, out at night.
DGP Mukesh Kumar Meena has asserted that investigation in the Benaulim rape case will be investigated on merit and taken to a logical conclusion.
