Often happens, that after winter fishing there is an unused streamer. In such cases, I fill it with water and put the jar in the freezer, previously wrapping the jar with a plastic bag.
After, already when there is no heat, and on sale, I take this jar with me, trying to make sure that the bloodworm on the way is not thawed.
In place of catching, I collect water from the reservoir into the jar and leave it to be defrosted. After defrosting the bloodworm has a completely satisfactory condition and is suitable for attachment to the hook.
Of course, it is not so convenient to use as fresh, but, nevertheless, for lack of fresh bloodworm, this frozen, quite competitive with other baits and attachments.
An example of this is the last fishing for the crucian carp, when for all the time fishing was only two bites and two decins and all for ice cream joker. The worm, the gum and the pearl bar were left without attention.
That's all. All good and good luck.
