The industrial standard in management reporting
A classic situation in software development companies: a business owner, CEO, top manager of a company is offered management reports based on standard IFRS, US GAAP, RAS indicators, and he says: ‘This is not my company, these indicators do not reflect the real state of affairs — they say nothing about my business or confuse the ’reader’ of the reports at all".
This is what happened in Positive Technologies, after which we decided to make an industrial management standard, which will allow us to understand how effectively the company works and to be able to compare it with other companies similar in business.
As part of this track, we plan to talk about the path Positive has taken in finding a methodology for calculating indicators, and we will also hold a discussion with representatives of other development companies, external auditors and investment bankers.
