Expert Mechanic Reviews Chinese Carbon Rims: Winspace 2023 Lun Hyper D45, Hyper 50s and ICAN Aero 50s - Includes 18 Speed Tests. In this video, we will be conducting an in-depth analysis of the new Winspace 2023 Lun Hyper D45 wheels, as well as the older Winspace Hyper 50s and the ICAN Aero 50s.
An expert mechanic will be providing insights on the Chinese carbon rims, the bearings, freehub bodies, and overall construction. Additionally, we will be providing information on the companies behind these wheels. The review will also include 18 speed tests conducted on a day with very low wind. Prior to each run, we captured screenshots of the wind app. However, if the wind remained constant for the TT, TT in reverse, and descent tests, we did not take additional screenshots.
The tests were conducted using the same tyres and tubes, water bottle with the same level of water, body position, and power meter (specifically, my Quarq cranks on the Winspace T1500).
