The "Introduction to Algorithms" textbook by Cormen, Leiserson, Rivest and Stein is one of the most cited books in computer science. I interview Professor Cormen as the fourth edition of the textbook is about to hit the bookstores. How did it happen that a young MIT graduate student put his PhD on hold to write this wildly successful book?
