I can't believe how well this worked! Soundproofing & Cooling my Home Server Rack
In this video, we soundproof my ZPAS SJB server rack with some Pyrosorb-S Class 0 acoustic foam. Then, as this form also acts as a thermal insulator, we upgrade the cooling system with an AC Infinity Controller 12 rackmount fan controller and a pair of AC Infinity MULTIFAN S3 fans. We then take a look at some test results to see how much of a difference the sound insulation worked, and I was very pleasantly surprised!
