Beverly Marsh is the thread that ties together the Losers Club, the seven kids in Derry, Maine who oppose the monster known as It. In this video I'll be going through the entire chronological life of Beverly Marsh including the disturbing details of her home life and be doing a complete breakdown and analysis of her character.
This will cover the entire known history of Beverly from her birth to her last appearance in Stephen King's writing. Please note that this will only analyse her character as written in the book. I will show clips from the movies and mini-series as a visual aid, but for the purposes of Horror History, the books are canon.
I'll be explaining how Beverly's past made her who she is today, what she contributed to the Losers Club and what her fears are and how they developed. I'll also analyse all of the scenes left out of the movies, such as the junkyard scene, taking a closer look at Bev's relationship with her mother and the poem "Your hair is winter fire // January embers // My heart burns there too."
