In this video , you will see how to setup dhcp server in pfsense 2.4.4-RELEASE-p2 (amd64) built on Wed Dec 12 07:40:18 EST 2018

Open your browser
enter the ip adress of the firewall
enter the username and password
click on services and select DHCP Server
if you see this error message, go to interfaces
I need to fix this problem before I will be able to continue
I will setup the DHCP server for interface LAN
click on LAN
here, click on configuration type
change configuration type to static
we need to add an ip address also for this interface
we add an ip address
a private ip address
we change this mask also
we change the mask
now click on save
click on apply changes
go to services
in general option
check enable DHCP server on LAN interface
in range enter the ip address you want to be available in your dhcp server
if you need additional pools, click on
add pool
in this example I don't need additional pool
I will leave all these on default
click on save
now go to status
click on DHCP lease
the DHCP server is working now
