Plan transport. As part of this see how much walking with your gear is needed.
Think about which bag / case to take.
Gather gear.
Decide on which camera and lens to take. (keep weight in mind)
Check all gear and clean lenses.
Format Memory cards to ensure they are Blank
Count Cameras/ Batteries/ Memory cards
Flashguns if needed Count and check batteries.
