Accuracy International produces some of the finest rifles in the world, and the AT-X is no exception. This precision rifle was designed with input and recommendations from AI team shooters, and addresses the shortcomings AI sniper rifles face in the competition fields. It features a lower barrel axis for faster stabilization and a straighter recoil impulse to get back on target faster after shooting. The non-bonded, barreled action sits lower on the chassis enabling the scope to be mounted lower to help clear barricades and portholes during competition shooting. Its match grade trigger comes with a heavy spring kit pre-installed, and provides a crisp pull of 1.5 lbs to 2.75 lbs, but can be configured to 12 ounces to 1.5 lbs by installing the light spring kit. In addition, the magazine well has been overcut to speed up magazine changes, but the rifle can also be reloaded directly through the ejection port.
