DP Virginie Surdej on shooting “The Blue Caftan” with ALEXA Mini & ARRI lights
In an interview with ARRI, Virginie Surdej, cinematographer of the Moroccan film “The Blue Caftan” (“Le Bleu du Caftan”) by Maryam Touzani, shares her experience of shooting the film with the ARRI ALEXA Mini and the help of ARRI lights. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022 at Un Certain Regard and won the FIPRESCI award.
Maryam Touzani is a member of the main jury in Cannes in 2023.
