In this video, I go over how I am incorporating the SP 404 mk2 in to my mpc one / mpc live mk2 workflow to add some texture and lofi sound to my beat making workflow. in this mpc tutorial with the sp i show 3 different ways to rout your drums or sample chops into the Roland sp 404mkii for that boombap hip hop sound in your beats using some of the sp 404 mk2 303 vinyl sim or the . I have the mpc one and the mpc live mkii retro edition but this can work with any other beatmaking hio hop sampler as long as you do the same routing shown in this video. Hope you enjoy.
