One of the main reasons new streamers do not get any viewers is because their microphone sounds bad. A new person might come into your stream, hears you, and leaves immediately because they don't want to hurt their ears.

A good, pleasant sounding, microphone really is key. When using an equalizer you can ever so slightly change how your voice sounds on stream, giving it a little more bass or high tones while avoiding the muddy and dull middles.

Another reason to add an equalizer is because it can reduce the unnatural tones that comes from an AC, Fridge, Fan, Electrical distortion, or even trucks right outside your window. By dipping the under 50s and over 10Ks you are able to avoid pulling attention to these.

When this is combined with noise suppression the lower volume really pulls in all the chances for it to be removed from your stream. Enjoy an amazing sounding you!
