Welcome to episode 77 ot the EDM sessions, in this one we are arranging and mixing a song in the synthwave genre. Smooth synths and a relatively slow BPM are in order here.
We begin by opening episode 15 of the EDM Session and begin by having a look of the type of mix we are looking to create in this episode. We settle on a album mix, the best of the listener, not for radio of DJ but mainly for the listener. This means a longer version with longer main melodies and more buildup and musicality.
We begin by creating an into using some of the elements and enriching them with some sound percussions with FX attached to them. We then move on to the structure of the song processing every part individually to create a full song that will be about 5 min long. We also spend some time mixing and compressing the elements so they shine in the mix.
