About the talk:
In the talk, Jarek and Aizhamal will share with you some of the untold truth on how to make your first steps into the secret world of Airflow Contributions. Not everyone knows that it is rather easy to become a contributor to one of the most popular projects of the Data Orchestration world. Jarek
& Aizhamal will guide how to approach it, what is important, what you can expect and most of all explain what the community didto make it easier for new contributors to start their adventure with Apache Airflow.
About Aizhamal:
Aizhamal is a PMC & Committer Apache Airflow and an Open Source Program Manager at Google, where she helps engineering teams build open source projects, and healthy communities around them.
About Jarek:
Jarek is an ex-CTO of a company which grew from 6 to 60 people and then decided to go back to a full-time engineering career. Jarek has been working as an engineer in many industries - Telecoms, Mobile app development, Google, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence - but for the last 1.5 years Cloud and Open Source data processing and Apache Airflow particularly is the main day (and sometimes nights and weekends) job for him. Jarek is currently PMC and Committer in the Apache Airflow project. Jarek likes to use his voice - for almost 30 years he sang in a choir and recently he ventured into learning voice lecturing and dubbing.
