As you can use it as it comes from the box in Gamer 1 mode with Local Dimming turned off, which looks quite good. And thanks to its wide P3 gamut coverage that brings a similar contrast as in other IPS monitors with more color saturation. And its HDR mode offers deep contrast, true blacks, and bright highlights, which is some of the best HDR performance you can get among mainstream monitors. In all, this LG 27GN950 is a flawed gaming panel. And it can unquestionably deliver its core functionality of 4K with a 144Hz refresh and quick responses.
