Our list begins with the Dell UltraSharp U2720Q. This Ultrasharp U2720Q is an excellent choice for business users and creative pros alike. By design, it has business elegance mastered with a minimal InfinityEdge bezel on the all-black front. And in a 27-inch, its 4K IPS panel and 163 of Pixel density make it sharp, crisp, and the colors were accurately saturated. On the angular bottom edge, it houses a row of small control buttons where you can make several different adjustments, including brightness, color, video source selection, and power. And its rear is grey and has a slight curvature. Its panel is capable of 5.1 inches of height adjustment, with a tilt range of 5 degrees down to 21 degrees up. And you can also have swivel control of 45 degrees to either side, with the ability to pivot the screen 90 degrees in either direction to make it a panel that adjusts to each user’s needs and comfort levels. For connectivity, there is a USB 3.0 Type-A port and a USB Type-C port on the right of the panel. And towards the bottom of the monitor, you get another USB Type-C port and a pair of USB 3.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5mm audio jack, secure lock slot, and an AC power port. In all, this Dell Ultrasharp 27 4K U2720Q is a business workflow monster. And its accurate color reproduction is excellent and can make this monitor a great option for any office, small business, or content creators.
Next is LG 27GN950-B. This LG 27GN950 is a must-buy if you are in the market for a 4K 144Hz monitor. By design, its finishes are in usual matte black in brushed and pebble styles. And its base features red trim on the bottom with LG and G-Sync logos in proud view. For gaming, LG offers very differently dynamic contrast options. As you can use it as it comes from the box in Gamer 1 mode with Local Dimming turned off, which looks quite good. And thanks to its wide P3 gamut coverage that brings a similar contrast as in other IPS monitors with more color saturation. With the backlight set for 200 nits brightness, you can work all day without fatigue on documents and graphic editing. And its HDR mode offers deep contrast, true blacks, and bright highlights, which is some of the best HDR performance you can get among mainstream monitors. In all, this LG 27GN950 is a flawed gaming panel. And it can unquestionably deliver its core functionality of 4K with a 144Hz refresh and quick responses.
