World-class soccer fever filled the air last week in St. Louis, as Bayer 04 – Bayer’s flagship team in Bundesliga (Germany’s top soccer league) – arrived for a visit, community outreach and a little friendly competition. The week of activities culminated in a match in St. Louis’ new Citypark Stadium, where St. Louis City SC (Soccer Club) will begin its inaugural season with Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2023.
