The Best Tactic on Football Manager 2021
The question that demands an answer over them all? What is the best tactic in football manager. With the huge overhaul of the match engine in FM, this is what FMBase and its tactic tester have set out to find out. Out of all the finely-made tactics people have made on FM21 so far, the finest of them all has already been figured out. Until your tactic is submitted, of course. At least we finally have a way to settle the age-old debate once again on Football Manager 21.
The tactical meta of FM21 is unsurprisingly back in the middle of the park. Central attacking midfielders, or CAM’s, are back as a key part of most successful sides. Perhaps surprisingly the refocus on the midfield does not seem to mean the best FM tactics now need a bunch of midfielders again. There are other focuses that make a great Football Manager tactic now though that will have many of you improving your saves, I’m sure.
