Description: As you already know the new name for office 365 is Microsoft 365, in this video we will remove the hybrid configuration of the Exchange server.
The scenario of on-prem: We have an Edge server, DAG configured & two mailbox servers with an Exchange server 2019 server. We have already migrated all the users to Microsoft 365 and our plan is to manage our users from Microsoft 365 itself.
Therefore, there is no need for the Exchange hybrid configuration and we also do not want the directory synchronization anymore.
We are planning to decommission all Exchange servers and want to make sure that, everything should work perfectly fine and we can uninstall Exchange server 2019 from on-premises.

We will follow the step by step to remove the hybrid Exchange configuration
Ensure that our public folders are not set to remote.
Update the DNS record to point towards MS 365
Remove the Service Connection Point (SCP) from on-premises
Delete/Disable the Inbound & Outbound Connector created by (HCW) from Microsoft 365
Remove Organization Relationship created by HCW from Microsoft 365
Disable the on-premises and Exchange Online configuration
Disable the Directory Synchronization for our tenant
If you have also migrated all the mailboxes to Microsoft 365.
