NOTD Bio: NOTD is 19-year old Tobias Danielsson and 17-year old Samuel Brandt, who met one another on Soundcloud prior to attending the same high school in southern Sweden, where Samuel is still enrolled. Prior to focusing on original music, the pair was called upon by pop music's elite for official remixes; Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, Sia, Alessia Cara, and Rihanna.
NOTD have accumulated over 350 Million streams across all digital platforms since their first release in November 2016. Their breakout came when their remix of “Romantic” by Stanaj (Lava/Republic) exploded on Spotify and recently has surpassed 100 Million streams on Spotify. Their official remix of “Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran was the #1 Electronic Song on Soundcloud for eight weeks straight, was named best remix of that song by Billboard, and has over 20 Million plays to date.
After making their mark with official remixes and a nomination for "Remix of The Year" at the inaugural Electronic Music Awards, the duo released their debut single "Summer of Love" featuring Norwegian pop sensation, Dagny, on August 11, 2017. This single quickly established the boys as an outstanding breakthrough act, as it shot to 1 million streams in just 10 days
In March 2018 they returned with the wholly infectious ‘I Wanna Know,’ a summery tune that features pop sensation Bea Miller. Her soulful vocals and NOTD’s breezing synths come together to create its soaring melody, whilst electronic grooves are brought into play beneath, making for a highly satisfying and uplifting listen. “I Wanna Know” landed on Apple Musics biggest pop playlists, Today’s Hits, A-List:Pop and on Spotify’s biggest playlist Todays Top Hits. On Spotify the single recieved 1 Million + streams per day and recently cracked the top 50 charts in the US, UK, Sweden and 15 other countries, while recently earning platinum status in Sweden, Australia and Norway.
