Raven's Jig is composed of me on keyboard and Akhts ( / akhtsnozone ) on vocals. THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL SONG NOT SIMILAR TO OUR USUAL STYLE.

I don't know what happened. I lost it, finally. I've been a fan of Infected Mushroom for many years, and fell in love with "Heavyweight" due to its vibrance and progression. I can't play electronics music and I won't pretend to know anything about it, either. What we tried to do with this arrangement is to try and grasp what we believe is the core of Heavyweight; namely the diversity and evolving colour spectrum. Did we succeed? I hope we did.

How was this made? Most of the 'instruments' used in this arrangement are part of my typical sample set which I use in most my other songs. The difference being that herein they have been strung through effect chains. In addition, We've used the voice of both Akhts and redtails (me) to add vocal effects. You can play a little game and tell me which part is sung by Akhts or redtails!

A word on the quality of this video; this was made using Milkdrop 2, with high-contrast presets, so it might look blocky or badly compressed. In the download link below there is also the original video file available. You're free to play it back on Milkdrop yourself for a trippy experience.
