In this video, we are going to check out the Intel N5105 2.5GbE Router PC's performance with OpenVPN, Wireguard and SQM QoS. The test was done with OpenWRT 22.03.0-rc6 (r19590-042d558536). In this build, the driver for the Intel I225-V 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet controller had been pre-installed (kmod-igc).
Here is the summary of the result:
OpenVPN 740Mbps Download & 466 Mbps Upload with OpenSpeedTest
Wireguard 931Mbps Download and 899Mbps Upload with OpenSpeedTest
SQM QoS The optimized throughput is 1800Mbps
