In today's lesson the Commutative law is revisited, and the children are reminded about how they can use ten arrays to build addition families where the same set of numbers creates four differently ordered sums. This is then extended to include subtraction sentences. The children will then apply this to create their own sets of addition and subtraction number sentences.
