The heavy is often dismissed as being easy to play, but I have found that being consistently effective with him can be quite difficult. In my time playing, I have learned that by being smart with my positioning, I am able to more consistently lead my team to victory.

If you couldn’t tell by my background clips, I almost exclusively use the minigun. I definitely think the Tomislav is good in some situations, but I generally prefer the better damage per second the minigun affords at heavy’s ideal range: up close.

I make my disapproval of jump revving around corners very apparent in this video - I think this is in part due to my choice of minigun. That being said, the Tomislav still have the same issues as the minigun when jump revving, albeit lessened. In any case, take my opinion on the matter with a grain of salt because I am less experienced on the heavy class than I am on demo/soldier.
