No depreciation is charged on salvage value — asset value reduces only up to that amount.
3. Degressive (Declining Balance)
Formula: Remaining Value × Depreciation Rate
A fixed percentage is applied to the remaining asset value each period.
Depreciation amount decreases over time.
Salvage value is not enforced — depreciation can go below it unless logic is added to handle that.
4. Degressive-Linear (Switch Method)
Starts with Degressive depreciation.
