In this video, I'll show you how to find the perimeter and area of squares. A square has four sides and four corners, with sides of equal lengths. To find the perimeter in a square, all you have to do is add the four sides together. So, the perimeter is equal to four times the length, or P = 4(L). The square's area, on the other hand, is the length times the length, or A = l x l. Pretty simple, eh?
By the end of the video, I hope that you learned how to easily find the area and the perimeter of squares. This is one of my favourite exercises in math because it is so easy. In the next video, instead of the square, I'm going to show you how to find the perimeter and area of triangles, and the method is pretty similar.
