Building a Large Garage Part 5: Framing Windows and tips to Laying Out Metal Siding
In this episode of building a large garage, I share with you the proper way of framing windows in a post frame structure. It isn't the same as framing windows in tradition stick frame walls. Thanks to the unique framing method of post frame, we do not have loads on top of our windows which greatly reduces materials needed to achieve our desired goal.
Once our windows are framed out, I share with you some tips and tricks to laying house wrap on a post frame structure as well as a set of quick tips to laying out metal siding. I recommend a Diablo Pruning Blade when cutting down your house wrap. They work phenomenally.
