County Durham's 300 acre open air museum of Beamish should be on anyone's England bucket list - it is THE place to feel like you've travelled back in time but also a genuine labour of love of the whole region. With items being gifted to the museum over the decades by people living in North of England, this museum is as authentic as it gets!

Join me for my Beamish vlog to see if this is something you should add to you UK travel itinerary! We'll be spending the whole day here, trying out some of the historically accurate food, visiting the pit ponies and elusive squirrels, and also feeling like we're main characters in a Jane Austen novel.
