Microsoft agreed to release new Call of Duty games on the Nintendo platform for 10 years as part of their agreement when acquiring Activision. This means that 2025 could be the first time in a very long time that Nintendo fans can buy and play a new COD game on the Switch or Switch 2! The Switch 2 joy cons can also potentially be turned sideways and used as a mouse, which would be very helpful when aiming in FPS games like Call of Duty
