MIGRANT PUSHES POSTMAN INTO ONCOMING TUBE TRAIN - "Because He Looked At Me"
This is the moment a migrant pushed a postman on to the Tube tracks at Oxford Circus station because he thought he had been given a “dirty look”.
Brwa Shorsh, 24, was sleeping on a bench on the Victoria line platform when he suddenly leapt up and shoved Tadeusz Potoczek off the platform.

Mr Potoczek, who was wearing his distinctive red Royal Mail uniform, was able to clamber back on to the platform with the help of a quick-thinking members of the public, just as a train entered the station.
Shorsh, a Kurdish migrant, admitted shoving Mr Potoczek but denied attempted murder, insisting he had not intended to harm him.
On Wednesday Shorsh was found guilty of attempted murder. He will be sentenced on September 26.
The incident happened on February 3, as Mr Potoczek, 61, made his way home from work.
“It’s the stuff of nightmares”, said prosecutor Sam Barker.
“A case of shocking and random violence.”
When he was arrested, Shorsh told police that he was “angry” after believing three women on a passing train had been rude to him.
“He said he had done it because the man had given him a dirty look and he felt disrespected”, said the prosecutor.
“He thought his behaviour was just fine.”
Jurors heard Mr Potoczek, a postman by trade, was in a hurry to get home as he was due to catch a flight on the evening of the incident, on February 3.
“The defendant pushed a total stranger off the platform at Oxford Circus tube station, into the path of an oncoming train”, said Mr Barker.
“Happily tragedy was avoided, but the prosecution say there’s only one reason you would push somebody in front of a train - it’s to kill them.”
Tadeusz Potoczek was walking along the platform before Brwa Shorsh leapt to his feet and shoved him. Shorsh pushed Mr Potoczek, claiming he gave him a 'dirty look’. Mr Potoczek fell onto the track below and was inches from the live line.
The harrowing video also shows heroic passerby Oliver Matthews dragging Mr Potoczek off the Victoria line track as a train emerges. The 61-year-old said he feared he was about to die as he floundered inches from the live rail at 3pm on February 3.
Kurdish migrant Shorsh, who had been sleeping rough at tube stations since 2020, claimed Mr Potoczekhe had been given a dirty look and he felt "disrespected".
Fortunately, Mr Potoczek managed to stay on his feet and landed away from the live rails.
The driver had put on the emergency brake and his train was just four seconds away from hitting the victim.
Another commuter who pulled Mr Potoczek to safety said Shorsh yelled: "What the f*** are you doing here?"
"I immediately put the train into emergency.
"I was shaken very badly by this," he continued.
"If he had been on the track a few seconds later he would have been killed. Also if I had looked away for a few seconds he would have been killed.
"I had a suicide four years ago at Oxford Circus, so I am very glad I managed to stop the train."
Tim Brown, defending Shorsh, said he is a "homeless refugee who has no contact with the NHS, let alone mental health services".

THEY COME ALL THE WAY TO THE UK AS WE ARE A SOFT TOUCH. WE GIVE THEM FREE FOOD, FREE HOUSING, MONEY AND HEALTH CARE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WHY DON’T COUNTRIES LIKE THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES TAKE IN HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? OR QATAR? OR OTHER COUNTRIES CLOSER TO THEM, LIKE WE DO?
