I think everybody already knows I prefer doing 70% of the look-dev directly in comp.
The amount of control you get and the speed of iteration is simply unmatched. I always try to encourage every Houdini artist to pick up Nuke if they haven't already.
Even if you're part of a pipeline and someone else does compositing, you'll be more useful and better prepared if you know the process.
