The Hunt:
FINALLY, We got some good hunting weather. It's been a struggle this early season to say the least. We had 1 good encounter and that was it. With this cool snap we elected to hunt this stand we call " THE GAP". There's been a few bucks going through this spot going back to bed in the mornings. Typically we won't hunt mornings during this portion of the season becuase it can do more harm then good. But, with this stand location we can slip in and out of there without busting anything and ruining the spot. Also this farm needs some serious doe management and that was one of our goals this fall. So we scraped the surface a little bit with this doe hunt. The best and most exciting part of the season is almost here and we cannot wait.
