A 13000-year-old residue of a beerlike substance was found in Israel. It seems alcohol is being consumed for as long as humans exist. In 7000 BCE in China, a fermented drink was made from rice. And thus began the evolution of Alcohol. The initial drinks were low in alcohol content as compared to the drinks today, and also they served multiple different purposes like storing water for a long time by adding some alcohol during long sea journies.
