Hi Friends,
In this vlog, we’re taking you around Ganpatipule, a beautiful coastal town in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Known for its famous Ganpati Mandir, it’s both a popular Hindu pilgrimage site and a tourist destination.
Ganpatipule is located about 375 km south of Mumbai, along the scenic Konkan Coast. This small, peaceful town is home to a pristine beach that attracts visitors from across the country.
The Ganpatipule Temple houses a Swayambhu Murti (self-manifested idol) of Lord Ganesha, making it a spiritually significant place. Every year, thousands of devotees from across Maharashtra visit this temple to seek blessings.
During our visit, we also stopped at Bhau Joshi Bhojnalaya for some authentic Maharashtrian food. It’s located just a short walk from the temple and the beach. The food here is delicious, hygienic, and truly authentic Maharashtrian vegetarian cuisine. The service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and it’s definitely a must-visit spot in Ganpatipule.
The Konkan region in the monsoon season is simply magical. Although water sports are closed during this time, the lush greenery, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.
