I have had a lot of questions lately about what to do with Dynamic DNS. Dynamic DNS is an issue when the IP address assigned from your ISP is dynamic which basically means it changes from time to time. When that change happens, the records you have set up at your domain provider no longer work until you go back in and manually change them which will take your remote access down until you do.

In this screencast I walk you through how to use two types of Dynamic DNS Services, the first gives you its own domain name that you use to set up your server. The second from Namecheap allows you to use your domain name at any domain provider with their free service. Namecheap does this because they believe you will like their service so much that you will eventually move your domain to them. Below are some links to the services covered in the video.

As always thanks for your support and for watching. If you could take a moment to like, favorite and share this video it will help other to find it on the internet.
