Have you ever noticed this detail in Miraculous? Despite the creators claiming that Ladybug and Cat Noir were equals, the show clearly favors Ladybug. She wields four major powers: Lucky Charm, which guarantees a path to victory; Magical Charms, which block akumatization; and the ability to restore anything a villain destroys. Cat Noir, by contrast, has only one main ability—Cataclysm—to destroy objects with a touch. His newest power, which lets him erase villain-created objects, feels more like a watered-down version of Ladybug’s restoration.
