In this video I show you Amazon CodeWhisperer a new developer companion that you install in your favorite IDE and helps you to improve developer productivity.
CodeWhisperer is a machine learning powered coding companion that helps you improve your development productivity. Code Whisperer integrates directly into your IDE and, based on your code and comments, it generates recommendations.
As AWS developers, we spend a lot of time in the documentation of the service. To understand how the AWS SDK works and what parameters that call takes, we spend time in Stack over flow or GitHub trying to find examples for our problems. Sometimes those examples are great and others they are not as specific for your use case and we try things repeatedly. Here is where code whisperer saved me hours of time. Now I can just code in my IDE and if I want something CodeWhisperer helps me.
