How to Draw Realistic Portrait "FAST" using Colored Pencil (Drawing BTS) Step 2
@BMDPortraits shows step 2 on how to draw realistic portrait "FAST" or relatively QUICKER with Colored Pencil using the GREEN FOUNDATION TECHNIQUE. Drawing a single head using colored pencil is already a long process especially if it is realistic, what more if you need to draw multiple people, just like this photo of BTS (7 heads). Drawing many faces can take ridiculously long and difficult and sometimes we tend to burn out and stressed out because colored pencil is a slow processed medium. However, let me show you the 3 steps on how to make it faster but not sacrificing the quality of the portrait. On this drawing i use Faber Castell Polychromos on Strathmore Heavyweight Drawing Paper.
This particular reference photo of famous k-pop group BTS (Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope) has already been drawn by me in 2019, but i decided to draw it again now, to see my improvements in realistic portrait drawing and see if i can make it half the time i spent to it which is almost 1 month.
