Chip Ganassi Racing has joined Michael Shank Racing as a part of the Ford Racing EcoBoost-powered Daytona Prototype program. Both teams will run 3.5L EcoBoost racing engines starting in 2014.

The move also means the return of one of Ford Racing's most decorated road racers in history, Scott Pruett.
