In this session, We are discussing the typical cross-section of a beam of the building projects. Generally, structure engineers provide a standard arrangement of the typical cross-section of the beam in their structural drawing which is to be followed at the site for execution and to follow the arrangement of bars and stirrups for the bar bending schedule of the beam.

In the BBS calculation of Beam we need to do the following as per as typical cross-section and respective structural detail of beam:

1. BBS of Top Reinforcement of Beam
2. BBS of bottom Reinforcement of beam
3. BBS of extra reinforcement of beam ( If provided )
4. BBS of stirrups of the beam at the different ends.
