Transcript: What is goody gang, so today I am going to be talking about the potential four stars for the genshin 3.8 banners and why it might just make it better/worse. As usual, please do not forget to subscribe to be updated on the latest genshin news, and make sure to join our genshin discord server, link in the description. So with the genshin 3.8 banners I’m basing the four stars off of who has had the longest rerun gap considering this is usually who reruns. Now I do know there are those putting out the predictions out there but we can see that they changed the order of the four stars recently which is why I still think anything is possible. With that in mind, one very plausible candidate to come to the banners is Noelle. While she isn’t tied to the story or event from what I can see from the livestream, she has one of the longest rerun gaps as she last reran in version 3.2. However if she doesn’t rerun I think razor is another very plausible option because he’s going under the same circumstance. Razor last reran in 3.2 as well and is one of the characters with the longest rerun gaps making him very possible. I think at least one of these two are definitely going to rerun considering their long rerun gaps but let’s just wait and see. Now moving on to the best possible candidate, thoma is the next character with the longest rerun gap as he reran in 3.2 as well but in second phase. Now that people know he’s cracked for burgeon and now that the abyss is also kinda favoring burgeon teams I think it definitely makes sense to place him in 3.8. Next moving on to the next possible candidate, this would be yanfei who last reran in the version 3.3 banners, so this would be plenty of a gap. Now Rosaria and Sayu also reran in version 3.3 but in the second phase so I think either of them are very likely to rerun here as well. Sara also reran in this phase but she exclusively reruns with raiden shogun so she has no chance of actually rerunning here. And very lastly, everyone’s favorite character Xinyan is the last possible option for a rerun in this patch as she’s the only character from phase 1 of 3.4 that didn’t have a rerun. It’s safe to say that Faruzan is confirmed for phase 2 because she’s one of those characters that will always accompany a five star, in this case wanderer. Now another thing to note is that hoyo has a pattern of rerunning a four star that is the same element of the five star, and then an off piece character. Knowing that, either xinyan, thoma, or yanfei could be in the phase 1 banners along with Rosaria. As per the off piece character, this can be either Sayu, Noelle, or Razor for the first phase. However in the second phase one of the pyro four stars mentioned previously could be the off piece character since we don’t have any pyro five star characters there. So if I had to make my prediction, I’m thinking thoma, razor, Rosaria for phase 1, and then yanfei, faruzan, and maybe Noelle in phase 2. Obviously this is all speculative and the predictions made recently could be 100% correct too, but this is basing off of who has had the longest rerun gaps.
