Hello friends! I have an amazing idea for using new socks in sewing. Socks must be beautiful.
Check out what I do with them, you'll love it!
I use socks for other purposes, but not old ones, but new ones. For sewing, this is just a godsend. I'll show you where I use them.
I never pass beautiful socks in the store, because they can be used in sewing. What I am doing. For sewing socks just a godsend.
If you do not know how and where they can be applied, read to the end, I will tell and show everything. Perhaps you will have interesting ideas for using new beautiful socks.
I will show the idea only on one sock.
So, first of all, the socks must be cut into two parts.
First I cut just above the heel. The bootleg of the sock with an elastic band will go into action.
Then, on the other hand, I cut off the heel and toe to make a "pipe".
I cut the elastic part and round the ends.
From this part I will make a pocket. I draw a contour on the product. In order to sew the pocket evenly, I put marks on the product itself and the pocket, which I combine during the sewing process.
I overcast the edges of the pocket and attach it to the product. I sew a line inside the pocket.
It turns out a fun pocket with an elastic band. On children's socks there are often muzzles with ears, such pockets will look very original.
I bend the second part of the sock in half, this will be the cuff. The cuff stretches well and without seams.
I sew the cuff with the help of an overlock around.
That's all, you can evaluate the result. For children's things, I make pockets and cuffs. For adults, from one part - cuffs, and the second can be used to process the neck.
