Advancing Spark - Power BI Databricks Connector with Native SQL
The Databricks Power BI connector has seen some pretty large leaps in functionality as Databricks SQL has matured. But with the latest version comes the ability to write Native SQL rather than rely entirely on Power Query & the data model but... is that necessarily a good thing?
In this video Simon is joined by resident Power BI guru Johnny Winter of Greyskull Analytics fame, looking at the new connector, discussing Native SQL in connectors and seeing how it performs!
