It's one of the most famous of cheat codes! The Konami code is features on dozens of games, TV shows and even web sites-- check out Canada's 150th anniversary $10 site: http://www.bankofcanada.ca/banknotes/...

The code gave us extra lives, invincibility or just an easy life when playing games that were, quite frankly, harder back in the day.

Some (all?) versions of the Konami code required you to press "Start" at the end of the code, so the full code should be:

up up down down left right left right b a start

I'll leave this short exercise up to the viewer, I'd maybe use the escape or enter keys for the 'start' button.
