Bad Diag? Bad Repair? Bad PARTS?? (Yamaha Battery Charging Problems)
My neighbor brought his 1980 Yamaha XS650 motorcycle over to diagnose a charging problem. He already fired a rectifier/regulator and alternator brushes at it, which obviously didn't fix anything.
A simple diag turns into a fiasco with 2 follow-up visits for the SAME PROBLEM!!
How would you handle this case in your shop?
