This tutorial shows you how to remove widgets completely or disable them entirely using Group Policy Editor. Learn how to declutter your desktop and optimize your Windows 11 experience.

In this video:

Disable Widget Button: Toggle the "Widgets" switch to "Off" in the Taskbar Settings.
Disable Widgets Completely: Navigate to "Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Widgets" in the Group Policy Editor, double-click "Allow widgets", select "Disabled", and click "Apply" and "OK".
Access Taskbar Settings: Right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and select "Taskbar Settings", or press Windows I and search for "Taskbar Settings".
